Fall events at the Bolton Public Library

Fall brings a new calendar of events to the community via the Bolton Public Library.  The Library's full calendar is here: http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org/calendar.html

Here are some highlights:

  • Story and Craft time for kids meets every Tuesday morning starting at 10:30 a.m.
  • Rhythm Reads, a music and movement program for young children, meets Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
  • Babies, Books, and Buddies, a lapsit storytime for infants and caregivers, meets Friday mornings at 11.
  • NEW this fall is Girls Who Code, a coding club for *everyone* in middle and high school.  Kickoff meeting is Tuesday 9/20 from 5:30-7 p.m.
  • Online art talks for the Culturally Curious begin with "The Art of Scandal" on Wednesday 9/28 at 7 p.m. and continuing once each month through December.
  • Watch the calendar for announcements about mindful art instruction, craft workshops, and guest lectures by Brian Lisse, MD (on his medical aid trips to Poland to assist Ukranian refugees) and Ed Sterling (on local history).
Other library resources include our array of museum passes which offer free or discounted admission to various local attractions  (details at http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org/museum-passes.html), night sky binoculars, exploration and STEAM/STEM kits for kids, a telescope, an energy conservation kit, downloadable books and videos, research databases (https://www.galepages.com/mlin_c_boltonpl)and so much more.  There is truly something for everyone at the library.

The library is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Friday 10-5, and Saturday 10-2.  The website and downloadables are available 24/7/365.
