Town of Bellingham issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
300th Anniversary Time Capsule Closing Event
Saturday, March 21 at 10:30 am at the Bellingham Library
Join the 300th Anniversary Committee for the final celebration of Bellingham’s 300th Year. We will be closing a time capsule with memorabilia and more from our 300th year. The items will be deposited in the 300th Anniversary “Cake” and sealed in a “treasure chest” that will be stored in the Bellingham Library’s Local History Room with directions for its opening in 2044.
We would love to have any small pieces of memorabilia from any of our 300th events. Photos , letters, menus, or swag any and all that showcases how EPIC 2019 was!!
Any items to be donated can be dropped off at the library from now until Wednesday March 18th to be included. Please do not bring original photos for the time capsule. these will not be able to be returned.
Join us Saturday March 21st as we seal it up and set it place for future generations!
