Walsh Middle School sees enrollment drop to 726 for 2025-26

Walsh Middle School had 726 students enrolled for the 2025-26 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

This represents a 7.5% decline compared to the prior school year, when enrollment reached 785 students.

Of those enrolled for 2025-26, 51.5% were girls, 48.1% boys, and 0.4% identified as non-binary.

Hispanic students comprised the largest ethnic group at Walsh Middle School, accounting for 47% of the student population.

The school operates within the Framingham Public Schools District, which has a central office based in Framingham.

Overall, public schools in Massachusetts enrolled 900,487 students in the 2025-26 school year.
