Wayland Public Schools District had a 99.5% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 1% higher than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 187 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 194 the year before.

Wayland Public Schools District had the 10th highest graduation rate in the state.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
