Of the 1,623,411 citizens living in Middlesex County in 2021, 80.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,300,957 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 634,890 were male, constituting 48.8%, and 666,067 were female, making up 51.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Middlesex County during 2021 was the same as the state average, which stands at 80.1%.
