Petition for Pole & Wire Locations within the Public Right of Way (ROW)
The Berlin Select Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 7, 2022, starting at 7:15 p.m., during the Board’s regularly-scheduled business meeting, to hear a petition filed for a pole and wires located within the public Right of Way (ROW) as follows:

In its petition dated & received October 19, 2022, Massachusetts Electric Company d/b/a National Grid has petitioned the Berlin, MA Select Board for permission to locate poles, wires, and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, along and across the following public way:
River Road West – National Grid is to install 1 Solely-Owned (SO) Pole on River Rd West beginning at a point approximately 0′ feet northeast of the centerline of the intersection of South St Rotary and continuing approximately 1050′ feet in a northeast direction. Install 1 SO Pole # 7-1 approximately 1050′ northeast of South St Rotary. Location approximately as shown on a plan attached to the petition, labeled as Work Order No. 30630008, named “River Rd West, Berlin, MA”, and dated October 13, 2022. This pole is necessary to provide service at 100 River Rd West.
