Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. pledged the highest donation among area organizations and businesses, claiming to commit $75,500,000 to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Of the four organizations which pledged to donate to Black Lives Matter in recent years, two of them were confirmed to have fulfilled their pledge and actually donated the amount of money they said they would. It’s unclear or unknown if the other organizations followed through with their pledges.
